Namhee has extensive experience in family therapy, stress and anger management, parenting and grief work. Namhee is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and has assisted parents to learn positive parenting skills and have a healthy balance of both nurture and structure. Namhee has worked with parents and children with trauma, ADHD, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Her clients include children as young as 3 years old with behavioral issues and ADHD and teens with poor self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. Namhee helps Neurodiverse couples as well. She works under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Lucking, PhD who is a published author, speaker, and expert in the field of Neurodiversity. Namhee supports NT partners who are struggling with social skills, identity formation, behavioral issues, OTRS (Ongoing Traumatic Relationship Syndrome). She uses the Island of Shared meaning model that Dr. Lucking created to support ND relationships and partners to bridge the Neurodiverse gap that these relationships struggle with. Her experience as a Korean-American who has been living and working in both countries helps her be more understanding and supportive to cross-cultural clients when she works with diverse populations.
