When looking for a therapist, both experience and connection are important components to a good fit. With 10+ years in the counseling field, I have clinical experience . But more importantly, I truly listen and invest in each of my clients and their families' successes. I offer both family and individual counseling for children (4+), young adults, and more. I also offer groups, as available, on a variety of psychoeducation and skill-building topics. Some areas of therapeutic focus include the following: -Family transitions (divorce, foster/adoption, new siblings, new schools) -Relational issues (parent/child, sibling, or peer relationship difficulties) -Behavior management, in conjunction with family counseling -Anxiety and stress management -Grief & loss -Play-based therapy -Giftedness / 2E -Self-esteem, depression, & self-harm -Anger management A Note from Natalie: Because I want my clients to get the most positive change from their experience, anticipate some recommended "homework" at times, relevant to our goals. Perhaps as simple as setting aside an hour for a family game night, I choose ways for you to incorporate your in-session progress with your outside, daily lives. The ultimate goal I can assist you with is giving you the knowledge and skills to no longer need me. And, the more we implement our work, the quicker results develop and growth blossoms.
