My passion is working with teens and adults who struggle with self-esteem, body image, and anxiety just to name a few. I have extensive experience working with eating disorders on all the levels of care from inpatient all the way through outpatient levels of care. I also use my previous training as a substance use counselor to assist with facilitating change and to create new habits. I believe, part of being human is the need to feel connected. For that reason, I love helping families come together, validate one another’s experiences, and learn to communicate more effectively. I integrate dialectical behavior therapy to build interpersonal skills, which promotes the development of creating meaningful relationships. I also use a combination of psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy based on your individual needs. I want to be your partner and guide in assisting to build healthy coping skills while helping you discover the strengths that you already have.
