I am a licensed independent clinical social worker practicing since 2000. I graduated the University of Maryland in 1998, with a BA in Psychology, and Boston University in 2000, with a Masters in Social Work. I began my career working in clinical residential settings and therapeutic day schools with ages 3-22. I have worked in school settings for the past 17 years, serving ages 4-13, as well as supporting adults (families and teachers) in managing their feelings and experiences of supporting children with mental health needs, while balancing their own triggers and stressors throughout. I regularly work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and trauma. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental environment providing Telehealth therapy for ages 10-24 with a client centered approach, respecting clients’ experiences and providing compassionate care. I am also an accomplished marathon swimmer, having completed the English Channel and Catalina Channel swims, which enhances my mindfulness practice and gives me insight into cognitive and emotional challenges in a very different light.
