As a therapist, I understand that the decision to pursue therapy can be a difficult one. In my practice, I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to therapy rooted in feminist and decolonial values. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership, and I prioritize clients’ right to self-determination; this means that I center you as the expert in your own life and experiences as we work together. My clinical approach is LGBTQIA+ affirming, harm reductive, and anti-oppressive. We will work at a pace that feels safest to you because I understand that experiencing painful emotions or revisiting difficult experiences can be overwhelming. I am sex positive, kink and BDSM friendly, and I welcome working with expansive relationship and family structures (polycules, polyamory, and nonmonogamy). I understand the inextricable links between sex, sexuality, and mental health—and this has led to my passion for working with queer and gender expansive populations. I am also passionate about working with people who have survived trauma, and I bring clinical experience working with survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. Furthermore, I completed my Maternal Health Certificate from Postpartum Support International and I am committed to supporting clients anywhere along the spectrum of their reproductive journeys from infertility and pregnancy loss to birth, postpartum, and beyond.
