Nathalie was raised in Washington State and received her Bachelor’s in Community Psychology from the University of Washington. During her time in that program, she became an active advocate for the Deaf Community. After the death of her best friend in high school, she was first introduced to the world of counseling. Learning coping skills and how to process grief showed her how valuable counseling was. Her mission is to be a mental health support for individuals in need of compassion and empower clients on their journey towards a more hopeful, healthier life. Nathalie believes in an encouragement-based holistic approach, where all areas of lifestyle have an impact on mental health. She brings a wide range of life experiences into the therapeutic relationship and uses a variety of counseling practices that tailor to the specific needs of her clients. She views herself as an advocate and collaborator in the counseling relationship. Nathalie looks forward to working alongside you through this journey, bringing a gentle, genuine, and empathetic approach into creating a safe space. In her free time, Nathalie loves to read (thrillers are the best!), write, and explore new places with her Golden Retriever. Being in nature is where she feels the closest to God and at peace from the stresses of life. Nathalie’s biggest inspirations are her friends, mentors, and the Deaf community that changed her life. Whether it’s your first time in counseling or you are returning, you are welcome!
