At Brave-Heart, we take a trauma/resilience-informed approach to therapy and uses evidence-based interventions to treat a wide range of issues, including trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, intimate partner violence, and more. His approach draws from a variety of techniques, including CBT, REBT, mindfulness, MI/MET, guided imagery, and mind-body connection. Throughout his career, Nathan has held a variety of roles in the mental health field, including as a clinician, Mental Health Therapist, and Batterer Intervention Provider. He has also served as a Specialty Programs Supervisor, managing Problem Gambling Services, DUII, and Domestic Abuse Awareness Program (DAAP), and as an Outpatient Clinical Director, where he worked to improve service delivery to disenfranchised community members. Nathan is a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and currently participates on numerous local service committees.
