What does it mean to be a person within our relationships, families, and cultures? How can we understand our purposes within an ever-evolving society and its ever-growing demands? How does living with psychological distress, in its various manifestations, affect how we understand and approach these questions? These and other questions fill my mind and soul and are the basis for the work I hope to pursue with the people I serve. I believe that the answers to these questions have the power to liberate and empower the people brave enough to seek them out and that much healing can be attained through their pursuit. Let's not kid ourselves, these are BIG questions, with likely complex answers, but don't let that discourage you. There are clues that can direct these explorations found in the stories that surround and are within us. I see my role as a therapist as one of collaboration, exploration, and partnership as we explore your stories; past, present, and future.
