I believe that every person has the optimistic desire to live well with positive outcomes, as it relates to everyday events and circumstances in our lives. I am also aware that life is not neatly packaged with all of our wants, desires, hopes and dreams; however, it is very unpredictable and comes with the good and the bad. I aim to create a safe space in my practice to allow those who have experienced the effects of mental illness; to include trauma, as a result of loss of a loved one, job, relationships and self-esteem. Hope and Serenity is an innate wish for all of us as we navigate through life’s hurdles. As your therapist, I will walk alongside you to assist you in doing the work on issues, that may be presenting as problematic in your life; and over time I will help you to find hope, joy, self-love and serenity. The Hebrew word for ‘time’ is the word "eth", meaning time or season. This is your season to be well, happy and prosperous. Give me a call to start the healing process. I am a graduate of Liberty University with a Master’s of Arts in Professional Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Texas and Virginia. I have over 12 years of experience providing therapy services to adults, with the goal of improving their mental health and quality of life. My education, experiences, over 20 years of military service in the U.S. Army and my steadfast trust in God, has laid the foundation for me to be empathetic, a good listener, nonjudgmental, and always hopeful that no matter what the situation may be in my life, tomorrow will bring a brighter day.
