Introduction

Life is full of difficulties, disappointments, and pain, as well as growth, joy, healing, and adventure, and sometimes we need help bridging those two areas in our life. I work with teens and adults navigating grief and loss, relationship concerns, present and childhood trauma, anxiety, and loss of purpose. Within sessions, I meet clients with curiosity and without judgment as I invite them to be vulnerable, experiment, and take risks. Having experienced therapy myself, I know of the importance of gaining a strong, safe, and empowering relationship between therapist and client, and this is one of my biggest priorities in my work. With a warm blend of directness and care I challenge and support my clients to increase mind and body connection, find purpose and meaning in life, to accept their whole selves (the difficult and wonderful parts), and take steps to create the life they want. I want to note that I am also a fellow human on a journey of healing who has struggled with hyper-independence, anxiety, perfectionism, and loneliness. I have navigated challenging relationships and abuse, grief and loss, and facing the unknown. While our experiences may differ, I share my vulnerability to offer hope and empathy as we work together.
