Greetings! My name is Nicole Dilbeck and I am the owner of Align Therapeutic. My journey into the counseling profession began 8 years ago, providing support to families and youth in Macon County, NC. Throughout my career I have worked diligently in areas of anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma and addiction. I have served a vast range of individuals from children to mature adults and all with individualized needs. Each person is unique and I strive to provide each client with personalized care. Society has often viewed vulnerability as a sign of weakness. I believe that by embracing and sharing our weaknesses we are demonstrating true strength. I am honored to walk beside my clients through some of their most difficult times in life. I respect and understand that the decision to "process and heal" from individual life experiences can be intimidating. I strive to build healthy and encouraging counselor-client relationships that will allow each person to feel safe and supported. I aspire to provide person centered care and have a strong desire to meet clients where they are. I utilize a variety of methods based on the clients issues/concerns and goals including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. Life can be overwhelming and is a normal occurrence. How we acknowledge, accept, process and heal from our journey is key. When we can align our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health, we can gain balance, stability and a better quality of life. Thank you for your time and consideration.
