I am a therapist practicing at a New Hope Family Therapeutic Services in Lexington Park, MD. I enjoy working with young adults to older adults who may be experiencing challenges that are impacting daily activities and social interactions. In addition, with my extensive Occupational Therapy background, these challenges could include physical impairments/disabilities such as traumatic head injury, stroke, fractures, cancer, lymphedema, and more. These impairments can lead to difficulty managing depression, anxiety, stress, isolation, stigma, lifestyle changes, and low self-esteem. I love to focus on the individual and use a person-centered approach; treatment is individualized to your specific needs. I eclectically use cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused techniques, talk therapy... whatever will work best with you.
