In therapy, I strive to create an environment where every client feels seen, heard and understood. Therapy is a place where you can come and there are no expectations of you. I believe the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is a powerful vessel for healing and change. I hope therapy can be a safe place where you can come get what you need to heal and grow! Therapy can provide: new mental health tools to improve quality of life, a place to explore hard issues, help in creating a healthier family or relationship dynamic, tools to grieve past experiences or simply a place to learn more about yourself. I have special experience in EMDR- trauma therapy. EMDR is an evidence based therapy to treat PTSD symptoms as well as depression and anxiety. EMDR is extremely affective in reducing symptoms but can take 6-8 sessions or more in order to complete. I also have training in ERP (Exposure Response Prevention therapy) the gold standard to treat anxiety and OCD. I see clients who are 18 & older.
