Welcome! My approach to therapy is to create an open, warm, and inclusive environment. I believe it is important to work collaboratively and practice flexibility tailoring interventions to individual needs while practicing cultural humility. I strive to provide support while identifying strengths. My goal is to discover potential, foster growth, and achieve a sense of wellness. I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Wisconsin and California) with over 20 years direct practice experience in a variety of settings. These include; disaster mental health emergency services, employee assistance, foster care, residential settings, and outpatient therapy. I worked as a lecturer and advisor in the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Social Work Program for six years. I currently work as a part-time counselor at the University of California Davis. I have experience working with veterinarians, students, and faculty in this setting. My theoretical perspectives/interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Expressive/Creative Modalities. I look forward to meeting and working with you as we begin this journey!
