Nithya [nith-ya] is an enthusiastic and authentic therapist who works with individuals and people in relationships. She is passionate about high-functioning individuals, perfectionists, people in relationships, people who are BIPOC and/or part of the LGBTQ+ community. She adapts her approach to best meet the needs of each unique client. Nithya provides a wide range of treatments including IFS, EMDR and Brainspotting, which are highly effective for addressing deeply-rooted trauma and stuck beliefs. For those seeking a more holistic approach to healing, she incorporates yoga and mindfulness principles to foster a mind-body connection. Her therapy for couples and people in relationships is rooted in the Gottman Method, a evidence-based approach for enhancing communication, trust, and intimacy. Her commitment to her clients is evident in her dedication to providing a space for self-discovery and growth, empowering them to live more balanced and meaningful lives. Nithya has her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University and Bachelor’s in Neuroscience from University of Illinois at Chicago with a minor in Sociology.
