I am a licensed clinical psychologist who received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Miami. I completed my clinical internship at the Mailman Center for Child Development at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, with a specialization in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I have expertise in evaluating and treating youth with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive, tics/Tourette, ASD, ADHD, and disruptive behavior disorders. I am a certified therapist in the Unified Protocols for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (UP-C/A) and in PCIT. I am also a certified UP-C/A trainer and provide training and consultations in this treatment protocol. My goal is to help clients learn how to navigate their strong emotions and face situations that they have previously avoided due to these strong emotions. I want to help my clients to engage fully in their lives, learn to accept the emotions that come and go, and learn coping skills to last a lifetime. I also want to help caregivers learn how to support their children in this journey and to learn their own skills for managing the stress of parenting children with big emotions. If this sounds like the right fit for you, please reach out to me to schedule a free initial consultation to discuss fit.
