Introduction

Life is ever changing and so are we! Each one of us needs at least one person who hears & see us; who supports & truly believes in us to heal, grow, & thrive through this journey of life. Maybe it’s a stage, a season, or an experience you had or are enduring, but you can find resolve & solitude regardless of it being from the past, present, or even future. Providing warm empathy through compassionate, client-centered approaches, I help with anxiety/depression, stress management, trauma recovery, perinatal support, & attachments/relationships using trauma informed cognitive & somatic techniques & human-animal bonds & connections. I have a strong understanding & appreciation for the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, physical, & spiritual well-being- the overarching holistic approach. Gaining awareness of the "felt-self" by recognizing body sensations through somatic techniques, you can regulate your nervous system resulting in a clear & calm mind. It’s the combination of knowledge & skills I've learned & gained throughout my seasoned professional journey alongside the wide range of real life personal experiences I’ve had that supports a safe & natural therapeutic relationship with real understanding. Finding the right therapist can truly be life changing, & you deserve to find the right one for you! I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities- both cognitive & somatic- during our sessions based on your interests, preferences, & desires. We'll explore those in our first session along with your needs & goals in creating an adaptable, progress oriented plan tailored specifically for you. You deserve real progress in healing & growth & together we'll create that pathway! I hold degrees in Child Development (2006), Social Work (2008 & 2024 highest distinction); state licensure as a Clinical Therapist; & 19 years of professional- with an abundance of life- experience. Specialty trainings: Trauma-Informed, Somatic Experiencing, Gottman, & Human/Animal & Equine Therapy. I'm currently accepting new clients! I provide Telehealth for residents anywhere in Michigan and in-person sessions in Hastings, MI. I am in-network for BCBS & Priority Health, but I can provide a superbill for clients out-of-network. You may also qualify for a sliding scale fee. Call or email to inquire about additional payment options to help keep therapy affordable for you. You are also invited to call for a free consultation with me!
