Relationships are challenging. Whether you are baffled by your single-hood, or in the throws of trying to make it work, relationships are one of life’s toughest nuts to crack. In spite of the challenge, I believe we all have the capacity for healthy, loving relationships. These relationships become our safe harbor in an often stormy world. I’ve devoted my career to helping others find their way to this harbor, because I know for sure that it is the most important thing in our lives. Being a human is also challenging! Depression, low self esteem, anxiety, panic, grief. These are all normal (and difficult!) aspects of our time on Earth. In our work together, we begin to hold these experiences as initiations. By facing them, and using the tools of therapy, dead ends begin to look like thresholds, losses begin to look like the birth of a new beginning. I believe this work matters, and that we are here to do it. We know we are on the right track when life begins to feel like it is for us, not against us. When we feel like every part of us belongs here, and that our deepest longings are worthy. Mastering this is the foundation of freedom from anxiety, depression, panic, and loneliness.
