Trauma may increase physical, mental, and emotional distress, leading to symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. In my practice, I work to reduce distress to improve these symptoms by helping you find your inner strength and learn how to cope. I have experience and training helping individuals through trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, and more, utilizing a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach. I am also experienced working with survivors of sexual and domestic violence. I have a Master of Social Work and am EMDR trained through EMDRIA, working toward full certification through continued supervision and training. If you are experiencing emotional distress, EMDR therapy may be a great modality to try. Along with EMDR, I also utilize additional evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and play therapy. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment and am passionate about collaborating with clients in the therapeutic process, empowering them to take steps towards healing by utilizing their inherent wisdom and strengths. I offer free 15-minute phone consultations and am happy to answer any questions you have!
