Olivia is a clinical and drama therapist intern at Effective Artistry. Olivia is a high school theater director, professional actor, voiceover artist, teaching artist, and early childhood educator. She has ten years of experience teaching theater and social-emotional skills to preschoolers to teens. She attended Accademia dell’ Arte (“Clown College”) in Tuscany, Italy. As a selective mute for the first eight years of her life, Olivia struggled speaking up in school and was often misunderstood. She found a safe way to express herself through writing and performing her own plays for friends and family. Now, after immersing herself in theater for well over two decades, she specializes in helping others explore and express themselves through drama therapy techniques such as role play, improv, games, movement, poetry, and storytelling. Each day, Olivia continues to explore her neurodiversity, gaining insight into what it’s like to feel different and at times, alone. Olivia is passionate about supporting clients who feel they don’t fit the mold, creatives, and those seeking to explore and find deeper meaning in their lives. In sessions, Olivia will team up with you to craft an approach that’s as unique as you are. Whether that means diving into talk therapy or mixing things up with some drama therapy, she’s here for you. Olivia currently has a select amount of spots available for reduced fee services.
