You are probably reading this because you are experiencing some form of difficulty in your life, may it be loss or grief, trauma, relationship difficulties or a general sense of low mood and anxiety, perhaps not even knowing why? Know that you are not alone. My approach to therapy is rooted in a belief that change is possible. I am Licensed both as a Professional Counselor and a Mental Health Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Communication and Gender & Women studies then completed my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy. My experience is multi-disciplinary and encompasses several different strategies. Some areas of my specialization include the underlying issues of anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, low self-esteem, career issues, trauma, and personality disorders. I draw from evidence-based, patient-centered modalities to help you process challenging or traumatic experiences, re-frame unhelpful beliefs, and foster resilience. My experience allows me to approach each client as an individual, listening carefully for what you need and collaboratively developing goals that matter to you. I know that there is no one therapy or model that fits all. My role in our relationship is to help you feel safe when exploring your inner world as we remove the obstacles preventing you from your potential towards healing and growth.
