Introduction

My name is Oluwaseun Obaro, M.A, LCPC, LPC, a mental health therapist, trained in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy ( CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I founded the SeunCares Therapy Center to provide compassionate and quality care utilizing a client centered approach to help you achieve your treatment goals in a nonjudgmental and safe therapeutic environment. SeunCares Therapy Center offers a full range of services to diverse clients with various needs, including eating disorders, body image concerns, anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, family and couples counseling. I received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Washington University in Washington D.C. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland, license number: LC10210. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia, license number: PRC200001275. I have experience working in a variety of settings including residential programs, intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient program, and in community mental health settings. I have completed trainings in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Additionally, I’ve completed trainings in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. I also practice from a social-justice and Health at Every Size (HAES) lens.
