Kia Medley-Stephens is a masters-level psychotherapist, behavior therapist, and PA-licensed professional counselor specializing in treating the child, adolescent, and adults across the lifespan. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University in 2015 and became a nationally certified counselor with the National Board-Certified Counselors. An avid learner, Kia takes continuing education courses to ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices to individuals served. For more than 25 years, Kia has served the child and adolescent population in one capacity or another. She served as a clinical director in community behavioral health, facilitated social-emotional group therapy services to the child and adolescent autistic and emotional support populations, and provided individual counseling services to individuals across the lifespan. Kia counseled adults diagnosed with chronic mental health disorders and aided in their transition from hospitals to group homes to independent living in the community. Kia transitioned back to serving youth by working with children in the PA foster care system. She served as a clinical director in community behavioral, facilitated social-emotional group therapy services to the child and adolescent autistic population, and provided individual counseling services to individuals across the lifespan. Kia is currently accepting clients of all ages with availability for 60-minute therapy sessions, Monday through Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm and Thursday through Friday from 10 am to 8 pm.
