I am Paige Dee, a Licensed Professional Counselor offering telehealth-based mental health counseling services to clients across the state of Georgia. If you are struggling with finding meaning or are facing one or more mental health concerns that complicate your life, I would be honored to support you through your challenges. I will compassionately walk alongside you as you work to overcome the obstacles in your path while learning to implement beneficial changes, coping skills, and mindfulness practices in your life. I will also celebrate with you your successes, both big and small, as well as everything in between. Furthermore, I will always respect and nurture your individuality as you strive to create and live a life that is most meaningful to you. I truly believe that each and every one of us holds intrinsic value throughout the interconnected existence that we all live. And I would be honored to support you in further exploring what values do or can guide you as your most authentic self. I am passionate about treating anxiety, phobias, OCD, and BFRB (hair-pulling, nail-biting, and skin-picking) disorders. First-hand supporting clients as they bravely confront, work through, and overcome their struggles with various kinds and levels of anxiety, leading to building a sense of self-confidence and liberation like never before, has often proven to be one of my favorite things to witness as a clinician. I also love supporting birthing women, people, and their support systems through considering or trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the subsequent years of embracing parenthood. Thinking about, trying to conceive, working through potential grief, transitioning into, or getting used to the ever-changing ebbs and flows of parenthood for a lifetime to come is often a monumental experience that deserves consistent support and deeper exploration. And for those who have experienced a pregnancy termination for one of a plethora of reasons, I am a safe person to explore the nuances of such decisions. As an Army veteran and the spouse of a retired veteran, I have a personal understanding of and enjoy serving military veterans and the dependents of military personnel. Additionally, exploring personal attachment styles and honing in on held values to help establish a guide for ways of showing up and acting in your life so that you can feel most authentically yourself is also among my favorite therapeutic focuses. I want you to know that while we work together, I will ensure that you never feel alone during your therapeutic journey. While I have experience and feel competent in supporting and working with many people and their presenting mental health concerns that exist outside of my specialty areas, I find supporting Anxiety disorders (GAD, Panic, Phobias, and Environmental), various types of OCD, BFRBs, Perinatal struggles (depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, abortion, TFMR, and grief), parenting, and military veteran and dependent stressors to be my strongest areas of clinical expertise. To continue honing my skills to best treat these areas of concern, I am working towards or hold specialty training certifications in many areas, where possible. For the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD, I am actively working towards earning my Certified Exposure and Response Prevention (CERP) certification. And for the treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, I hold a Perinatal Mental Health Counseling (PMH-C) certification. I also regularly engage in various trainings and consultation support for each specialty area, while taking advantage of additional trainings and consulting on areas that may extend beyond my specialty to best support my clients and their ever-evolving needs. Alongside you, I will eclectically draw from therapeutic orientations such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Parts Work, Intersectional Feminism, and others to guide our work. Personally, I am a mom of an amazing and silly little kiddo, a gentle and older-aged dog, and a stubborn cat. Environmental sustainability is a passion of mine that often guides me in many ways, shaping how I interact with the world. And simply being outside and mindfully engaging with Mother Earth brings me awe and happiness. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns by using the contact form above to schedule a consultation appointment, emailing me at healingwillowcounseling@gmail.com, or calling me at 706-675-5458. I would be honored to support you and genuinely look forward to providing the empowerment you deserve as you explore, define, and go on to live a life that is uniquely meaningful to you.
