Hi and welcome! My name is Dr. Pam and I am a licensed clinical psychologist and supervisor. I am Board Certified in Biofeedback which means I underwent extensive training in learning how the body and the mind work together to impact the health and wellness of an individual. Through this training, I learned that my passion lies in helping patients learn about their bodies and minds in new ways to help nurture healing, especially in the case of chronic health diagnoses, insomnia, and anxiety disorders. I specialize in improving the quality of life of individuals with chronic pain, including chronic migraine and fibromyalgia. My treatment approach focuses on helping patients learn ways to break free from the grip of their thoughts and feelings and move towards a satisfying and vibrant life according to their own personal values. I weave in techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness traditions, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, self-compassion, and use therapeutic technologies as needed to help build resilience. I love to help patients learn and provide information about health conditions and neuroscience in an easy, light-hearted way. My patients frequently tell me that my use of metaphor and down-to-Earth language helps them digest these often complex topics in a way that helps normalize and validate their experiences.
