Introduction

I'm Dan Kimball, the founder of Path4Change PLLC. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing group and individual therapy to people of all ages. In 2014, I transitioned to the Positive Psychology and Wellness Model, after identifying the limitations of traditional symptom and illness-based methods used in most mental health facilities. My approach has been influenced by renowned experts in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Positive Psychology as well as Optimize/Heroic Coaching and Recovery Coaching. I hold several certifications, showcasing my commitment to providing a broad spectrum of services to my clients. These include being a Certified Progressive Recovery Coach (2015), Level II certified Gottman Method Couples Counselor (2017), a Certified Prepare/Enrich Premarital Coach (2018), and a Certified Heroic Coach (2019). These qualifications equip me to offer structured support to those on recovery journeys, help couples build strong relationships, and provide comprehensive guidance to individuals striving to optimize their overall well-being. As part of my dedication to holistic health, I practice and teach tai chi, qigong, and mindfulness. I earned the Black Belt Certification as a Tai Chi Instructor in 2020. In 2023, I obtained the Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Level II Practitioner certification, to provide high-quality Reiki therapy and affirm my dedication to integrating energy work for holistic healing. I am also a Heroic Ambassador for the Heroic Public Benefit Corporation (2023), part of a transformative social training platform committed to enabling 51% of humanity to thrive by 2051.
