Introduction

I am a trauma-informed counselor – meaning that my background, training and experience has been in the field of trauma resolution. Whether it be childhood trauma, or more recent events, I am committed to helping people to access their own innate healing ability. My work focuses on both the past and the here-and-now and how trauma symptoms might be interfering with living life more fully. I utilize somatic (body orientated) methods, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create a foundation in which trauma processing can be done effectively.
