Introduction: Thank you for your interest in my TeleHealth counseling services, I am accepting new referrals at this time for Adults who are not court-involved. I offer a welcoming and supportive environment where I use my 20 years of mental health and substance abuse counseling experience to help Individuals attain their personal, relationship, and family-based goals. I join individuals by engaging in a holistic, person-centered, strengths-based approach to help with the identification of issues, concerns, and other barriers to self-understanding and well-being. This leads to improved insight goal clarity, and successful skills tailored to this need. Approach: I appreciate and respect the courage and commitment needed to embark on a journey of self-understanding and self-development. Therapeutic interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Compassion Therapy, Stages of Change, Motivation, 12-Step Philosophy, Harm Reduction, and Grief/Loss counseling. Experience: My experience with a diverse group of clients in a variety of settings has led to several specialties: Dual-Diagnosis Counseling for individuals with both mental health and substance use difficulties; Adjustment Counseling for individuals coping with aging, health challenges, and disability; and Clinical Supervision for graduates and licensees.
