Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2003- older than some of my clients have been around! I started working with families and children in graduate school which started my love of clinical work. My clinical background is diverse, covering working in hospital, outpatient, school, and child welfare settings. I specialize in treating life transitions (e.g. college, empty-nest, job loss, aging parents, emerging adults), grief/loss, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal/relationship issues, and depression. In therapy, I use multiple modalities including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy techniques, mindfulness, and somatic practices. I accept insurance through "Headway" (Cigna, UMR, United Health Care, and Aetna) and BC/BS plans through Simple Practice.
