Dr. Peter DeNigris earned his Psy.D. in clinical psychology in 2004 from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University. His general practice includes evaluating and treating adolescents and adults using a cognitive-behavioral approach, which is widely considered to be the most effective treatment modality for a multitude of problems. Three of Dr. DeNigris’ primary areas of interest include anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma. An additional specialty is forensic psychology, which involves the evaluation and treatment of those involved in the legal system.
