My approach to therapy is to provide clients with empowerment and encouragement to conquer their problems by providing copings skills, processing and understanding emotions, and supporting them during difficult times. My hope is that clients can expect to leave a session feeling like they have someone they can trust and open up to. They can also expect to have more tools in their coping skill toolbox. I work with people of all ages who may be struggling with adjustment, anxiety, depression, and other life issues. I use solution-focused methods and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help clients overcome these struggles. I also have specialized training in Christian Counseling, EMDR, and Play Therapy.
