Are you struggling to find your way in an increasingly stressful and confusing world? Do you feel conflicted within yourself and with others? Do you long for a sense of interconnectedness and purpose? I will help you find, access, and be guided by your inner wisdom toward a more satisfying and fulfilling life. We heal in connection with and relation to others. Our work will focus on developing a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship that fosters healing and the continued development of your natural strength, compassion, and zeal for life. We will incorporate mindfulness of body, mind, emotions and spirit to find the balance you need to not merely survive but to thrive amid life's challenges. I aim to guide and support this restorative journey as you reclaim your birthright to an authentic, fulfilling life led by your values and principles. Many who have been affected by trauma doubt these can ever be theirs again, or if they ever were. In my 13 years working with Combat Veterans and survivors of Military Sexual Trauma, I have seen the truth of those words. Healing happens. Post-traumatic growth can be yours. I foster a safe and non-judgmental space to reconnect with yourself, your partner, and your deepest wisdom to find bright new pathways forward into healing and growth. As you become more attuned with your present moment experience you will find it a reliable guide to connection, fulfillment and meaningful endeavor. I utilize a variety of therapeutic methods toward these ends including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with individuals and couples. I have been practicing for 22 years providing individual and couples counseling in community and residential settings. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprogramming (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and am a certified Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) provider. I have extensive experience working with complex trauma in Combat Veterans and Military Sexual Trauma survivors. I have worked extensively in inpatient drug and alcohol treatment facilities. Working together, we will tailor interventions to fit your needs and interests.
