Hi and Welcome! My practice is a place where mental health, physical health, and relationships are tended to in equal measure. I work from an understanding that physical and mental health are inseparable and that only when we develop insight into ourselves can we flourish in our relationships. My services span the spectrum from preventative efforts to curb mental health concerns, psychological assessments and evidence-based therapies to help those in need, supervision for psychologists in training, and consultation with other professionals and community organizations to to promote a culture in which mental health can be openly discussed and all members are encouraged to thrive. In my work as a therapist, I help individuals lean into difficult emotions, have tough and productive conversations with others, and learn to take care of the mind, body, and spirit on a regular basis. My practice is focused on relationship issues, substance use, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma. My therapeutic style is supportive, honest, and collaborative - with a healthy dose of humor once I’ve been working with someone for a while. I consider each client’s medical history, earliest and most recent relationships, cultural experiences, and identity when working together to develop a treatment plan. When providing supervision or consultation, I ... At the end of the day, I simply enjoy working with people, individually or within organizations, who are courageously trying to improve their inner lives, their relationships, and the world around them. When we nurture ourselves and our communities, the reach is far and wide. Or as a wise person once said, “In a gentle way, you can shake the world.” Gandhi, it was Gandhi who said that. I mean, I certainly wasn’t there, but that’s a powerful message. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to get started.
