Therapy is defined as, "treatment intended to relieve and/or heal" and I work to align my style with this in mind with all who I encounter in the therapy room as I honor their experiences. The foundation of my approach is the practice of unconditional positive regard, understanding, empathy, and validation to build a strong therapeutic alliance. I will collaborate with you to formulate attainable goals that scaffold your steps toward achieving the version of yourself you are looking forward to meeting. Interventions I use to assist in the therapeutic process are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems therapy, as well as weaving in other treatment modalities that best suit your goals.
