I received my degree from Wake Forest University in 2003. I then received my license from the state of NC. I have worked in a variety of settings from inpatient to outpatient working primarily with adults with mental health challenges including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, life changes, and couples counseling. I provide perinatal mental health services for new, expecting and hopeful parents. This includes pregnancy stress and anxiety, postpartum depression and anxiety, birth trauma, infertility issues, miscarriage, and infant loss as well as adoption challenges that can arise. This phase can trigger various challenges such as depression, anxiety, anger, grief, guilt, intrusive and scary thoughts, relationship strains, body image issues, or trauma. I offer a free 15 min meeting to see if I am a good fit for you.
