I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of experience working in mental health and social services. I hold both a bachelor's and master's degree in social work. I am passionate about helping children and families cope with the challenges of life and deepen their connections with themselves and others. I pride myself in providing a safe and empowering space that children, teens, and adults can use to explore their emotions, build their own skills, and gain insight into their behaviors. I utilize a variety of approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to assist individuals in discovering their inner strengths and developing valuable skills. I am passionate about creating safe spaces for children and families to feel connected, seen, heard, and valued as they do their healing work individually and collectively. In addition to my work, I am also the Executive Director of Open Heart Open Arms, Inc., a local non-profit serving at-risk youth in the community. When I am relaxing, I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family.
