Introduction

Are you overwhelmed or hopeless? Do you feel lonely or stuck? Do you feel like your world just turned upside down? My authenticity, humor and empathy has helped many people feel understood and motivated to change. I work with individuals and couples on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, sexual intimacy, and infidelity via telehealth and in person. I practice Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Research has found EFT to be one of the most effective types of couple therapy. Together we will explore your negative patterns, find new ways of expressing your needs and help you feel more supported. My experience as a Chaplain at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center provides me with expertise in helping people of all faiths and backgrounds cope with grief, illness, trauma and existential issues. I will provide you with the information needed for out of network insurance reimbursement. Education: Bachelor's of Arts: University of Michigan Master's in Social Work: University of Michigan Rabbinical degree: Reconstructionist Rabbinical College Clinical Pastoral Education: Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins Hospital. and Jewish Theological Seminary. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy: Completed Externship and Core Skills. Continued workshops and consultation.
