My clients often seek therapy when they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or burnt out. They are amidst a transition — starting college, beginning or ending a relationship, changing jobs, or becoming a parent. Others are feeling stuck and need support navigating their friendships, partnerships, family dynamics, or careers. I believe that effective therapy happens when the client and therapist have an authentic, trusting relationship, and the client is invested in their healing and growth. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, and I strive to create a space that meets your needs using curiosity, empathy, and humor. I practice trauma-informed care and believe that you are the expert in your own wellbeing. My approach to therapy addresses the need for both long-term change and short-term relief from suffering. We might explore how your past experiences inform your present self and investigate the ways that your relationships, both past and present, have shaped you. We will develop practical strategies for managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, burnout, and trauma. I emphasize the power of the brain-body connection and encourage clients to consider how their lifestyle affects their mental health. I am currently accepting clients ages 15 and older. Together we will find the path forward.
