I believe that you are the author of your own story. Sometimes, we can get lost in the details and forget about the resources and inner strengths we already possess. My role is to create a supportive, healing space where you can let go of the parts of your story that no longer serve you, and rediscover the path that aligns with your true self. I’m honored to witness my clients as they reclaim their stories, especially those within the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. What It's Like to Work with Me: Therapy is a collaborative journey where we work together to break free from old patterns and unhelpful narratives. My goal is to help you get ‘unstuck,’ so you can create new, meaningful chapters in your life. Every session will offer you a new perspective, with actionable steps to reflect on and integrate into your personal growth. I believe that my clients do the most important work by choosing to face their challenges head-on. My role is to validate your experiences, offer compassionate guidance, and help you develop coping strategies that truly support lasting change. Weekly or biweekly sessions will give you the consistency and focus needed to prioritize yourself and foster real transformation. “Under duress, we do not rise to our expectation…we fall to our level of training.” – Bruce Lee My Approach: I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Based Compassion Training, Mindful Self-Compassion, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. Together, we’ll rewrite self-concepts and challenge limiting beliefs, helping you reconnect with your mind and body through practices like meditation, grounding techniques, and art-based interventions. My work also focuses on creating a healthier relationship with your inner critic, using self-compassion to reduce negative self-talk and foster sustainable self-care. Through compassionate listening and supportive challenges, you’ll feel more empowered to express your needs and establish healthier relationships. A Bit More About Me: I understand what it’s like to feel as though life is happening to you rather than being something you actively shape. Through my own healing journey, I’ve learned to embrace discomfort, and I guide my clients in doing the same, helping them reclaim their agency and align with their true selves. I hold deep respect for the therapeutic relationship and consider it a privilege to sit with you in your story. When you’re ready to explore, heal, and rewrite the narrative of your life, I’m here to support you. Let’s begin your journey.
