I take an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I use a variety of evidence-based methods to meet you where you are and support your unique needs. I believe that each person is uniquely created by God with a complex personality and needs, therefore I use an integrative approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based practices from a variety of counseling approaches to meet the distinctive needs of the client. In general though, my primary approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and EMDR. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a technique that helps process past trauma and distressing memories, bringing healing and peace. I’m also passionate about bringing a holistic approach to therapy, which means caring for you in mind, body, and soul and discussing the needs of all three areas of your life. I believe that true healing involves all parts of who you are. Rooted in a Catholic-Christian understanding of the person, I see each person as deeply valuable and capable of flourishing in every area of life. My goal is to support you in finding peace, growth, and wholeness in a way that aligns with your beliefs and values. Above all, I believe that the counselor-client relationship is essential to healing. It is built on trust, respect, and compassion, and it’s in this safe, supportive space that true transformation can happen. I’m honored to walk alongside you on this path toward healing, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
