I provide affirming psychodynamic therapy for adults, teens (age 13+), and couples/dyads, in person in Lafayette, CA and via telehealth throughout California. I warmly welcome clients of all identities, and love working with LGBTQIA+, trans, and neurodivergent folks, as well as people with disabilities and chronic health conditions. I am compassionate and grounded, and I bring humor and warmth to hard conversations. I became a psychotherapist in midlife, after a career as an attorney, and I have deep empathy for clients who are navigating the complexities of demanding jobs, parenting, midlife transitions, and career changes. My approach to therapy is humanistic and psychodynamic, with an inclusive feminist lens. Depending on the needs of the client, I use a variety of techniques, including somatics, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). My work is trauma-informed and client-centered.
