Introduction

Thank you for your interest in working with me. We are multifaceted beings with complex bio-psycho-social-spiritual parts. How they operate together determine how we navigate through our internal and external worlds. Sometimes we do this really well and other times, we struggle with integration, congruence, and harmony. That's where therapy can be of service. Collaboratively, we can rewire maladaptive behaviors into healthier ones. I offer a calming, compassionate, listening presence that invites clients to process and integrate thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. I welcome all races, cultures, and genders in people struggling with anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, depression, grief and loss, codependency, esteem, assertiveness, communication, personal or professional conflict resolution, anger management, insomnia, and life transitions. Certified in Perinatal Mental Health, I also support the many challenges that can arise from conception-birth-parenting - such as family planning, miscarriage grief, body image, birth anxiety, birth planning, birth trauma, and postpartum depression and/or anxiety. Since the pandemic, an unprecedented amount of people are dealing with anxiety and depression on a daily basis. It is my honor and privilege to serve those struggling with the impacts of Covid-related health issues, grief and loss, isolation, employment stress, and financial strain. My therapeutic approach includes client-centered, evidence-based, mindfulness, and expressive art practices. During sessions, I strive to listen with compassion, reflect what I am hearing, and validate the client's experience. I also work to help identify the therapeutic goals and formulate an informed, trackable treatment plan that utilizes effective tools and coping strategies for improved wellbeing. Progress is essential and so I collaborate closely with clients to get the most effective results possible. Emotional safety is above all else. I accept out-of-network as well as in-network clients with Concern EAP and various, well-known insurance companies via Rula. Rula is a third-party client referral service for telehealth.
