I work with individuals 18+ throughout the lifespan who are navigating issues around anxiety, including social anxiety, relationships, life transitions, multicultural issues, loss, and identity formation. I provide a healing, attuned, kind presence that will help you to navigate and cope with the challenges you are facing so that you can be present in your life in a more connected, confident, and creative way. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of professional experience. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Religious Studies and graduating Cum Laude. I received my Master in Social Work degree at NYU. I have a background in relational psychotherapy, as well as mindfulness-based tools like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, I have trained in IFS level 1 and the beginning and intermediate levels of Somatic Experiencing, innovative therapeutic tools that I incorporate into my work. IFS is the basis for the Inside Out films, and Somatic Experiencing is a body-based modality. For the past eight years, I have been a staff therapist at Columbia University Counseling and Psychological Services. I have extensive experience offering psychotherapy to adults of all ages, leading groups focused on creating connections and managing anxiety, and presenting virtual and in-person workshops to large audiences in professional and educational contexts. Our work together will help you to become the best version of you. I look forward to working with you. At this time, my practice is currently virtual and I am an out-of-network provider for any individual residing in the state of New York.
