Counseling or talk therapy provides such an effective treatment for people who struggle with a variety of mental health issues and life's struggles. I love that it helps others and enjoy seeing people find answers and help for their needs. I am intrigued by why we do what we do and consider it a privilege that you invite me into your personal journey for growth and healing. I have worked with individuals, groups, families, and couples in a multiple settings such as clinics, offices, and hospitals for over 25 years. My clients have taught me much about their struggles and helped me to understand the needs of those dealing with mental health, relational, and life issues. My therapy methods are built largely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Christian Counseling, the Gottman Method, and other insight-oriented practices and techniques. It is important to use what is needed and what works. Meanwhile, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Presbyterian College, SC and my Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Arizona, AZ.
