Introduction

Hey there, I’m Raven! I am one of the six people born and raised in the metro Atlanta area. I am a black queer southern woman. I enjoy spending time with my family, partner, and friends. I love nature, books, and rest. I have been a social worker since 2019 and my love for the field continues to grow. I transitioned from education into social work when I discovered that I loved talking (during class time) with my students about what was going on in their lives both inside and outside of school. I realized at the time that this was my passion - being a safe space for people to discuss their frustrations, joys, and everything in between in a judgment free and empathetic space. I have been doing just that ever since. In my work, I am diligent about meeting clients where they are and allowing them to create space for themselves while using me as a guide. It is my goal as a therapist to lead you back to yourself and help you to become in tune with yourself, your needs, and your desires. I want to help you reach your goals while helping you to honor your most authentic self, in your truth - as you see fit. My approach puts you in charge of your own growth and pace. When it comes to therapy with me, I use an integrated approach because humans are naturally ever changing and may need different things at different points in their care. I love this work and creating space for people - and in turn teaching people to create space for themselves. I hope that you will allow me to walk alongside you to help you identify and implement tools to help you begin to build the life that you deem worthy of living.
