Thanks for your interest in seeking services for yourself or a loved one. I'm Ray Conner. I'm a licensed clinical mental health counselor and licensed clinical addictions specialist in North Carolina. My journey to the helping profession was unique. My father only had a third grade education and constantly urged me to do well in and complete my education. Our family suffered the tragic loss of a loved one to suicide. These, along with other factors, led me to the counseling field. Helping people with their needs became a driving force in my decision to prepare for and offer my services to others. I specialize in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). These modalities are excellent ways to help those who are battling problems in their lives. I work with individuals and couples. It has been my privilege to assist people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and personality disorders find the help and growth they are looking for. I welcome the opportunity to work with you as well.
