Rachel-Clair is a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor, Board Certified Telemental Health Provider, and a Certified Health Education Specialist. She received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi University for Women with a degree in Psychology and received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University. In 2016 she obtained a master’s degree in Public Health from Mississippi University for Women after a continuous interest in the associations between mental and physical health. She has 10 years of experience working with clients in various settings and a wide range of presenting concerns. She has worked in private practice, college counseling centers, and has previous experience working with adolescents and young adults within their homes, and inpatient residential settings. Her primary clinical areas of interest include but are not limited to: identity development, risk and protective factors that contribute to suicidality, the impact that sleep wake disorders have on the quality of life, depressive disorders, LGBTQ+, multiculturalism in counseling, creating effective coping strategies, and communication skills development.
