As a counselor, my job is to help you take control of your own life by providing the tools, education, and support you may need to make that happen. In our counseling sessions, we will focus on the goals you create for yourself, based on your specific concerns, needs, wants, and dreams. I am here to provide unconditional positive regard, which means to accept someone just as they are, without judging them based on their thoughts, feelings, and/or behaviors. My goal is to help create a safe space for you to work through your emotions and challenges, and to explore your own potential, which is often much more vast than you know! I enjoy using mindfulness techniques not only in my practice, but in my own life as well. I believe that sometimes we need someone on the outside to help us slow down and realize that right here, right now, we are the master of our destiny. "We cannot change what we are not aware of, and once we are aware, we cannot help but change," said Sheryl Sandberg. Starting the counseling process can be daunting, but I am here to help you through it, going at your pace.
