I have a special interest in working with individuals from late adolescence through adulthood who may be struggling with patterns of codependency in relationships, trauma, anxiety and attachment issue. I have a keen understanding of how our earliest relationships and experiences impact our adult-selves and I support my clients in gaining a deeper, more compassionate understanding of their journey. By integrating those early experiences, old cycles are able to change and healing becomes possible. I help my clients move from insight to action by empowering them to shift unhelpful relationship cycles. I believe in creating a safe and collaborative place for clients to feel seen and begin the healing journey. I approach every client with empathy and compassion in order to meet them where they are and empower them to make behavioral changes and heal from past trauma. I enjoy working with those who experience fears of abandonment, rejection, and place high standards upon themselves in order to seek validation. I work with clients to gain an awareness of their emotions, triggers, and needs. I often utilize mindfulness and breath-work in sessions to support clients in coping with overwhelming emotions. I believe in a strengths-based approach and often incorporate IFS (parts work), EMDR and attachment-based work. Through parts work, I help clients connect with those young parts of themselves who experienced emotional wounding – parts of ourselves that we often tend to reject. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over half a decade of experience in diverse clinical settings. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Marist College and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. As a trauma-informed clinician, I utilize EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and attachment based modalities in sessions with clients. I consider myself a "witchy nerd" and am a lover of all things fantasy. In my free time I enjoy writing, listing to true crime podcasts, chit chatting with friends and adding to my collection of crystals and tarot cards.
