Child and Adolescent Therapist/Owner Kaleidoscope Kids Counseling, LLC
Specialties: Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Depression, Grief, Trauma,

Introduction

I'm a child and family therapist who uses play, expressive arts, and strength based approaches to create a safe space for children and their families to process trauma, express feelings, and learn tools to manage the stressors impacting life. My journey into therapy was born out of years of experience as a teacher, witnessing the challenges that students and their families faced daily. This profound connection seeing their struggles inspired me to seek additional tools and avenues to provide meaningful support, walking alongside them on a journey toward healing and hope. The transition from teaching to therapy has been a transformative one. It's a journey that stems from a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families. The name "Kaleidoscope Kids Counseling" reflects my belief in the uniqueness of each child and the dynamic, ever-changing nature of their experiences. Having been in the education field, I understand the complexities that young minds navigate. My goal is to offer a safe and compassionate space where children and their families can find support, understanding, and the tools to embark on a path of healing and growth. Join me at Kaleidoscope Kids Counseling, where my passion for empowering children and their families meets the dedication to fostering hope and well-being. Let's walk this path together, discovering the possibilities that unfold when we embrace the journey towards healing. I'm currently offering both in-person and telehealth appointments.
